Giles Somerville founded Astrol Capital Partners to deploy proprietary capital across private technology opportunities. He has an extensive background building and investing in early and growth-stage technology and specialty finance companies, and is an active investor in the secondary private equity market, focusing primarily on emerging growth technology companies.
Giles' investing was done previously through Milestone Equity Partners and KG Investments, and currently through Astrol Capital Partners. As both an investor and board member, he is known for his strong leadership, strategic vision, and deep knowledge of funding and exiting high-growth companies.
He attended Georgetown University and spent the first ten years of his career working with Wall Street firms including Bear Stearns and Paine Webber. Mr. Somerville has an extensive public speaking background and has appeared multiple times on both FOX News and ABC News.

Lara McGillicuddy serves as Partner at Astrol Capital Partners and Numa Capital, focusing on capital formation, strategic relationships, and growth-stage investing. She works at the intersection of entrepreneurs, family offices, venture investors, and institutional capital, leveraging a broad network to identify and execute investment and fundraising opportunities.
Throughout her career, Lara has cultivated relationships with leading family offices, venture capital firms, and private investors, creating a robust ecosystem for co-investment, direct investment, and strategic partnerships. Her experience spans venture capital, private equity, and investment banking, with a focus on helping innovative companies access the capital and relationships needed to accelerate growth.
